DNA: 2.Careers
Our students need support to find a way forward post-16, & the careers rung within our personal development DNA curriculum is the focussed area where we will guide this from.
In supporting them in finding a new direction & guiding them to the positive pathway set out at admission by linking into core curriculum, tutor groups and introducing opportunities such as visiting speakers, careers fairs and work experience, we will provide a rich and varied experience so that rise students can move forward to become the best version of themselves.

Rise Academy is committed to providing our students with a thorough & supportive CEIAG offer which covers all sites and key stages through to & including Post-16.
KS4 students will have an initial 121 CEIAG meeting as part of the admissions process to ensure vocational options are in line with any post-16 aspirations. Opportunity will be offered to all students to have 121 time for impartial, comprehensive personalised CEIAG alongside in-school sessions, workplace & college provider visits, open days and work placement in year 11. The Rise Trauma Informed Values are applied to all areas of our school including CEIAG and ensures our pupils make fully supported, positive lasting choices.
