Pupils in KS3 paid tribute today to the men from Hull who were killed in War. Men from Sutton-on-Hull killed in WW1 and WW2 are remembered on a stone tribute next to St James’ Church. Before we went, staff created a booklet containing stories and information of various graves and the students created artwork containing poppies and poems. The students used these booklets to identity and pay their respects to fallen soldiers and they placed their work on the graves of the service men who died during these battles.
