This year’s awareness theme is ‘Movement: Moving more for our mental health’.
In support of Mental Health Awareness week staff and students at Rise Academy have participated in wearing green on Tuesday 14th May 2024. Throughout the day we’ve incorporated this theme into different activities in both the classrooms and break times. At the end of the day, staff enjoyed eating cakes and a ‘Cup of Tea’ club where we participated in a green raffle, quiz and an auction for a painting to raise funds for The Mental Health foundation.
