Our Year 9 pupils enjoyed an exciting and informative Logistics Outreach Day at a Leconfield Army barracks, where they gained a valuable insight into careers within military logistics.
Throughout the day, pupils explored the wide range of career opportunities available in logistics and learned about the important role logistics plays in supporting Army operations. They had the opportunity to get up close to a variety of specialist military vehicles, including bomb disposal vehicles, and discover how they are used in different operational situations.

One of the highlights of the visit was watching a live demonstration of Army vehicles in action, giving pupils a real-life understanding of their capabilities. They also experienced the latest training technology by taking part in a virtual reality-driving simulator, where they had the chance to simulate driving a tank.
The day was an engaging and memorable experience that encouraged pupils to consider future career pathways while developing their understanding of the skills, teamwork and technology involved in modern logistics. We would like to thank the Army personnel for providing such an inspiring and interactive day for our pupils and Cindy for organising this experience.
