The North Pole was in trouble and needed our help! With Santa coming to his untimely demise, the pupils of KS3 worked together to solve clues and unlock the vault of presents. On Wednesday 4th December, Rise rugby players had a fixture against another school. They all pulled together and played excellently, winning the game with a final score of 38-4.
During Parliament week some year 11 students went for a tour of the Guild Hall in Hull. They enjoyed time within the Chambers and chatted about their futures. We had lessons in the Committee room, learning about the House of Commons and the House of Lords in preparation for their upcoming Parliament tour.
Pupils in KS3 paid tribute today to the men and families from Hull, who were killed in WW1 and WW2. The students created artwork containing poppies and poems to show their respect to the fallen soldiers. They located graves of service men who have given their lives and placed their work here as a sign
