This week in the hair and beauty department student’s have been demonstrating their “Halloween” special effects make up skills.
Students at key stage 4, have taken part in dog therapy this half term. Dog therapy is proven to support young people with stress and anxiety, social skills and general wellbeing.
Pupils at KS3 have been studying Poetry in English this term. This week we decided to use the skills we have learnt to create some of our own Halloween poems. We have also created some spooky Artwork in our Art lesson.

Rise Above students have had a great afternoon at the Careers Fair. The event allowed our learners to meet post 16 colleges, employers and those offering apprenticeships. A rewarding afternoon, seeing our students making conversations and thinking of their next steps.
